Camp Shirt Sizes

DEAR CAMP PURITY CAMPERS

As we are changing the company that prints our camp shirts, it will be affecting our shirt sizes also. Kindly look at the new sizes (they are the same as last year’s white Speedlight shirt sizes) and select the size you want.

XXS (34), XS (36), S (38), M (40), L (42), XL (44)
As a guide, gals would usually take XXS to S,
while guys S to M, with the huge guys taking L.

When you have done so we’d appreciate if you could email your updated shirt size to us at purity08tshirt@gmail.com in the following format:

Name:
Receipt/Serial No.:
Preferred Shirt Size:
Contact No.:

For example
Name: Vinnie Lau
Receipt/Serial No.: T151
Preferred Shirt Size: 38 (S)
Contact No.: 63636776

Your subject for your email should be your receipt/serial no.
Kindly note that this email is strictly for replying of shirt sizes.
Any enquiries should be directed to Comments :)
(Note that the email address has been changed as of 23 Oct, 0915,
so if you’ve submitted before that please resend to the new email. =)
Sorry for the trouble!)
We will stop taking in changes in shirts sizes
after 23 November (1 month from now) at 2359 hours.
Kindly send in only one email; we will acknowledge when we have received your email. And please DIY (do it yourself; try not to ask your friends to do it for you to prevent miscomm or confusion or mistakes…this won’t take long lah).

Thank you for your support to Camp Purity & for your understanding =)

Cheers =)
Camp Purity Comm.

Hey there!

Current Registration Status: 64/100

If you’ve not signed up as yet or are undecided, you might want to consider being the first in the queue this week to grab one of the last 30 odd places. =)

In this update we tackle some questions you may have about the camp:

Q: Where in Singapore is the camp, I know its at Buona Vista but anything more specific? I have to be accountable to my folks.

All will be revealed in good time (like when registration closes – anyway it doesn’t matter cuz buses will send you there and send you back lah). The reason we’ve withheld such info is we’re trying to encourage Speedlighters to sign up because they want to gain something from the camp and not ‘cause the place is uber cool.

That said, if your folks are concerned, we’ll say (and are willing to stake our reputations behind this) that the place is nice, safe and uber cool. =)

Q: Why is it so expensive?!

Well. Firstly, none of what you pay goes into our pockets. In a nutshell, its just the combination of many factors – location + food + increase in prices for everything (you are living in 2008 not 2001 you know).
If you’re still not satisfied, may we offer the following comparison: NCC’s youth camp the previous year was at Sarimbun Scouts Campsite; they charged $120 per pax. With this in mind, and after you see the camp site, you’ll smile for sure. =)

Honestly, $85 divided into 3 days (not counting the last day since we break camp already) will give you about $28++. Most of us can spend more than that in half a day over a meal and a little shopping and coffee and maybe transport cost. If you look at it with the right perspective it is not too much at all :)

Q: I can only attend 2 days of the camp. Can I pay prorated fees?

Sorry dear we don’t calculate fees that way. I mean even if we do, spare the admin and finance team pleaseee…

Q: I’m very intrigued by the whole purity thing, but I’m still curious. Can I know more?

Sure, check back for updates ‘cause we’ll be posting up a theme write up really soon we promise!

On more updates, we have short stories on each of the 3 teasers! Puzzled or perplexed by the videos? No idea what that coin represents? Head over to the media page and check them out.

See that “!!!” on menu bar? We’ve got a treat for y’all there. Enjoy!

Hello Speedlighters!

Welcome to the official blog for Speedlight Camp Purity!

Camp registration will begin NEXT SUNDAY!

As our camp venue this year has limited space, we have only 100 vacancies available so be sure that you are one of the 100 campers! Registration will end on November 16 or when we hit our quota – whichever first :)

This blog has been set up to answer your questions about the nature of this camp. It is also to help prepare campers (of which you should be one!) both spiritually and physically for the camp. And before we leave you to navigate around the site, thank you for visiting our camp blog and we look forward to seeing you at the camp itself!

Serving with you,
Camp Purity Commandants
